THE CUBE® is a Self Sustaining Patented Packaging System made of a Special Engineered 100% Paperboard Lamination with a combination of Recycled and Virgin Fibers. Why is so different from Corner Angle Protectors? First: we use a Super strong Glue with a Special Humidity Resistance formulation. Second: Special Paperboard; Crossed Fiber between layers Third: The Components are assembled in a way that allows them to work like one single structural piece.

THE CUBE® system is built around the premise that a pallet should be inherently capable of going from the end of a manufacturer’s production line to a distribution center and then on to delivery truck and straight to the retailer’s sales floor with no labor necessary, other than a forklift. Once on the floor, it requires virtually none of the labor effort of a normal pallet delivery to unpack or erect in order to become an attractive and effective sales display.

The design, quality and consistency of this one of a kind and patented offering, coupled with “built in” point-of-sale materials has delivered dramatic sales benefits, often boosting product sales over 30%.

Also permits the manufacturer to avoid the use of corrugated cartons, yielding cost savings of approximately 40% vs. traditional carton and pallet shipping. This elimination of secondary and tertiary packaging has the additional benefit of being environmentally friendlier than current packaging options.

The usage of a packaging System like THE CUBE® has replaced, reduced or in some cases eliminated the over use of  packaging material such as Corrugated Boxes, Corrugated Fillers or Partitions, Cushioning Foam, Honeycomb, MDF, Wood, Shrink Film, Metal Racks, among others.

Cost Benefit Analysis

THE CUBE® is an innovation in the classic sense. Competition is the traditional way that each consumer products  manufacturer packages and palletizes products for shipment to customers. Collectively, customers for any consumer product manufacturer require an assortment of destinations including, individual retail stores called DSD (Direct Store Delivery), central warehouses of retail chains operations who redistribute to their individual stores, the manufacturer’s own regional warehousing facilities and middlemen, such as brokers who may warehouse products as part of their function. There are as many variations to this material handling, shipping and storage process as there are manufacturers.

In most situations, THE CUBE® will cost the manufacturer anywhere from 20%-40% less than shipping product via traditional means. These savings are derived from:

a) Eliminates corrugated carton costs of $75-$100 per pallet.

b) Eliminates labor costs for storing, packing and sealing corrugated carton costs of as much as $100 per pallet.

c) Allows approximately 10% more product to be shipped per pallet because it eliminates the space occupied by corrugated material. The actual value here is approximately $10.

d) Allows manufacturer to ship double-stacked THE CUBE® pallets, since the structural integrity of THE CUBE® is sufficient to do so. This would cut trucking cost per pallet in half. The savings here can be $50 per pallet for domestic truck shipment.
